The Twisted project, 'building the engine of your internet', is a central component of seafelt products. Available free of charge, Twisted is an event driven networking engine written in Python and is used as the engine behind seafelt Performance Manager, seafelt Configuration Manager and ModiPy.

For many years, seafelt has provided code back to the community, such as our pure Python SNMP library, libsnmp. Today, however, we have taken the additional step of donating money to this excellent project.

We hope that by supporting such great software, we can, in some small way, say thank you to the Twisted Matrix team for providing us with such a useful tool, and encourage them to build more great software in the future.
